Yann Frohn's initiation into his trade started in Normandy at Le Bougnat and then at the luxury brasserie at Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, where his passion began for using top-quality fresh ingredients combined with culinary aesthetics.
It was at Hôtel Martinez in Cannes that he learnt the French tradition for feeling, quality and savoir-faire, cooking for a discerning, well-travelled, international clientele.
This talented chef has gone on to work in many other places to expand his knowledge and skills, from Courchevel to Wales and not forgetting the stunning Lubéron in the south of France. This well-known artists' region inspired Yann to treat his dishes like a painter's palette, playing with the accompaniments like a painter with his oil paints.
In Paris, the doors of Alain Ducasse's restaurant at Hotel Plaza Athénée opened to him, where Yann learnt his meticulous approach to cooking with careful attention to detail and the importance of authentic flavours.
His impeccable reputation then led him to take over the management of the Ken club, where his attitude to a healthy way of life is reflected in his cuisine.
At the Louis² restaurant, Yann's menu follows the seasons and his vibrant cuisine brings out the flavours of the produce in his luxuriously created dishes. He draws on all his experiences and talents to create a menu that will appeal to all your senses and desires.
